The Common Rough Woodlouse (Porcellio scaber)
The common rough woodlouse is a terrestrial isopod (which is a crustaceous group of both terrestrial and marine animals with a shell-like exoskeleton, two antenna). This animal is commonly found in British Isles, Northern and Western Europe, and North America. Their environments vary greatly, though they can be found mostly under stones, rotting wood, and even inside your home (a woodlouse's presence in your home is a sign of dampening problems. Their muscular system mostly is made up in its seven pairs of jointed legs used for movement. Other than that, however, the complete description of this species and its relatives is incomplete.
